I can get stuck on a problem for hours until I understand why it works the way it works. Trying out new technologies, taking systems apart, questioning things other people just accept: that's exactly what drives me.

In 2026 I finished my apprenticeship as a Platform Engineer (EFZ), four years at WND AG. That's where I learned to stay calm when something doesn't work right away, and to take on responsibility once I'd earned it.

On the side, I helped Pyra Systems build out their network and servers. Not my own project, but exactly where I realized how much I enjoy contributing to something that goes beyond my apprenticeship.

At home I've built my own little network with a few servers, my playground for everything I don't know yet. I don't like trusting things I haven't understood myself, so at my place everything runs as a test before it goes live.

Right now I'm serving as a full-time soldier in the Swiss Army, assigned as a social media soldier: documenting everyday troop life and exercises with a camera (more on the Photography page). After that, it's back to new IT projects.
